- The banner isn't showing on my store
- Open your Shopify admin and confirm the Consentico app embed is enabled in your active theme. Inside the app, the dashboard surfaces a 'Banner not enabled' warning with a one-click deep link to the theme editor when this is the cause.
- How do I run a cookie scan?
- Dashboard → 'Scan my store'. The first scan can take 30–90 seconds for a small store. If your store is password-protected, you'll be prompted to enter the password — we use it only for the duration of the scan.
- Does Consentico work with Google Analytics 4?
- Yes. We set Google Consent Mode v2 defaults to 'denied' on the storefront before GA4 loads, then update them when the visitor decides. GA4 will run in modeled-conversion mode until consent is given. No code changes required.
- Can I customize the banner copy and colors?
- Yes. Free plan supports preset templates and the eight built-in languages. Pro and Business unlock full customization (colors, fonts, layout). Business adds custom CSS for pixel-perfect brand matching.
- How do I export my consent logs?
- Pro and Business plans support CSV export from the Consent Logs page. The export respects any active filter (date range, accepted/rejected) and is paginated for large stores.
- What happens to my data when I uninstall?
- All consent logs, scans, and settings are deleted within seconds of uninstall. Shopify sends a shop/redact webhook 48 hours later as a backstop, and we run the same purge again to catch anything that landed in the interim.
